Purchasing Advertising From A Site - What & How To
There are some members out there who are confused as to what should be filled in when they purchase advertising. The following is a small tutorial, which we hope you will find useful.
1. When Purchasing Paid Email Advertising If you wish to purchase advertising from a site, click on the link that you will find on the site called "Advertisers" or "Advertise". When you click on the link, you will be taken to a page listing out the type of advertising available to choose from. The type of advertising you will usually find in sites are advertising packages (ad packages), email advertising (paid emails), paid to promote, banner impressions, top/ bottom sponsorship ads, paid to click, contest paid to clicks, rotator views etc.
When you click on the paid advertising you would like to purchase, it will take you to a page where you are given certain instructions on how to pay for it and what details you should submit.
- If it is one ad you wish to purchase, then leave the quantity as 1 - Click on the payment option you wish to pay with. For example, if you wish to pay with E-Gold, click on the E-Gold button. You will be taken to the E-Gold page where you need to mention your E-Gold number, Passphrase and the turning number. You can then review the details and if everything is in order, then confirm the payment. - After the payment is made, you need to fill in the details, for example:
Assuming that you are purchasing a paid email, the following is a screenshot of what the page looks like where you need to fill in and submit details of your purchased ad.

Accordingly, what you could fill in the above areas is given below.
Your Name / Username: If you are a member of the site you are purchasing the ad from, please state your username (the one you used to sign up with). If you are not a member, you need to mention x23 and your preferred username. If not, you will not be able to check the statistics of your email ad. For example, if you would like to use the username: newadvertiser, you need to mention x23newadvertiser. Then you will be able to track the statistics of your email ad by replacing the XXXXX in the link provided by the site with your username, i.e newadvertiser.
Your Email You need to mention your email address here. Once your ad is processed, you will receive an email from the program saying that your ad has been processed.
Payment Method Select the payment method you used in order to pay for the ad from the drop down menu.
Transaction ID / Batch Number You need to copy the Transaction ID/ Batch Number once you send the payment and paste it in this box.
Then comes the area you need to give your ad details: Ad #1 Details: Your Comments & Notes Whatever you wish to mention here, not some jibberish, but something relevant. Some members post notes to the PO. Whatever you mention here will NOT be shown in the ad.
Ad Description You can mention the name of the site or "New Program Alert" (if it is a grand new program that is just launched) or whatever you wish. It will appear as the SUBJECT of the paid email.
Paid-Link URL The link to the site you wish to promote. In other words, the URL.
Ad Text (Everything you want displayed with your ad) This is the text (body) of the email. You can say something about the program you wish to promote here.
At the very bottom of the page, you will find something like this:
Check this box if you have submitted this form truthfully, and you have made the payment for the advertisement. Please make sure to check the box.
2. When Purchasing Paid To Click or Banner Ads If it is paid to click ads or banner impressions you wish to purchase, the page you need to fill in the details will look like this:

Fill in the details as above. The only difference is that when you purchase a paid advertisement, you need to type the ad text whereas when advertising banner impressions and/or paid to clicks, you need to give the banner URL where it says banner address.
As done above, once you have paid and filled all the details, check the box where it says you submitted the form truthfully before submitting the details.
